Columbia was a deep keel weighted with 90 tons of ballast to stabilize her sharply undercut hull. She was built in 1899 for American’s Cup Races and won the 10thand 11thraces, winning two years in a row. Columbia was built by Nathanael Greene Herreshoff. America’s Cup History fans and sailing enthusiasts would enjoy collecting all four of our racing yacht mugs!
The mug design is a reproduction of an original watercolor by Lee M. Buchanan and has the image on the front and back of the mug.
