Spirit of Cape Henlopen Roman Numeral Clock
Cape Henlopen Light was a victim of a locomoting dune that ultimately consumed the land and led to the final demise of the light during a howling storm on a winter day in 1925. The lighthouse was built in 1767 and guided ships from the Atlantic to the Delaware Bay for over 150 years. Research for the painting used for this clock included archival photographs and drawings. This clock is rich with history and you’ll enjoy using it to know what time it is! Makes a great gift for a lighthouse lover or a history buff!
The lighthouse design in the clock is a reproduction of an original watercolor by Lee M. Buchanan. The Search Box above will help you fin our other products with this image.
